Purchased Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus with Payroll Enhanced , will not install from download or disk, I have done everything Quickbooks suggest, spend 2-hrs with Tech, spend the morning with IT, confirming it was not a Windows or Computer issue. Was told that since it was purchase at retail store, disk would work for installation after Tech Support spend 2-hours directing me around computer.

Any ideas? If they did, go log into your camps account and see if it has shown up yet. You should be able to download another copy. And I'm surprised Support didn't try to download a new copy if the disk is defective. I'm guessing it's a disk problem if they didn't find that you didn't have enough memory or disk space. What kind of error were you getting when you tried to install from the DVD?

And what exactly did Support do that took 2 hours? More than enough memory, GBs of free space on C drive so that is not the issue. Tech viewed my screen and pointed and told me what to type attempting to install from downloaded copy. Checked all Window settings, firmwalls, etc. Used Quickbooks Tool Hub, error shows up when installing both disk and the downloaded version. Per IT, nothing wrong with Windows or Microsoft. Error may be caused by a missing or damaged QuickBooks Desktop installation file or a corrupted.
